Yesterday’s wedding was an absolute dream! On May 17th, I had the pleasure of capturing Allyson and Hampton’s stunning backyard wedding in Brownsboro, Alabama and y’all, it was such a vibe from start to finish. A Full Day of Photo Magic 🎞️📸
Allyson booked my All-Day Package, which includes up to 10 hours of photo coverage, a second shooter, and a content creator add-on for behind-the-scenes video footage. She also opted for 10 Polaroids to take home that night which is the cutest keepsake ever.
We kicked off the day at 12pm at the Williams’ home, where vibrant details were already setting the tone. Think pinks, purples, yellows, and fresh greens. Her golden rings sparkled in the sunlight, and the entire vibe was just bright, colorful joy.
Ally’s engagement session with me back in December was already such a fun day, so I knew this one would be a blast, and I was right.
The Details You’ll Be Pinning Later 💍👠🌸
Let’s talk fashion and style. Ally wore the most stunning strapless gown from The White Magnolia in Charleston, covered in delicate floral appliqué with a long train and veil. She paired it with blue Kailee P. heels with pearl ankle straps (obsessed), pearl jewelry, and the signature Burberry perfume she made sure everyone got a spritz of , so the whole crew smelled divine.
Hampton wore a classic suit from Men’s Warehouse, and one of the sweetest details was the engraved watch Ally gifted him. It read “I love you” + their wedding date – cue the happy tears.
The bridesmaids wore baby blue dresses in different styles, and even the moms joined in with matching shades. Ally’s sister was her maid of honor, and Hampton’s dad was his best man. I loved how family-centered their wedding was.
Sweet Moments & Sentimental Touches
Before the ceremony, Ally shared first looks with her bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, and her dad. But the most emotional moment was her first look with Hampton where they exchanged private vows, just the two of them. It was intimate, heartfelt, and so reflective of their relationship.
After some gorgeous portraits with their bridal party (five bridesmaids, six groomsmen!), we explored the property for bride and groom portraits including some dreamy drone shots with them laying in the grass. 💫
Backyard Ceremony Dreams 🌿✨
Their ceremony was held in the backyard, near the outdoor fireplace, with a floral arch framing the moment perfectly. Instead of a flower girl, they had flower grandmothers. YES, their grandmas walked down the aisle tossing petals and stealing hearts. 🥺💐
Despite an original forecast calling for storms, the weather held out and gave us sun all day long (thanks to the rumored planted sausages for good luck. If you know, you know 😂).
Cheese, Toasts, & Epic Dances 🧀🍾🕺
Cocktail hour gave Ally and Hampton a private moment together before heading into dinner and y’all, DINNER WAS A SHOW. Picture this: a giant flaming wheel of cheese where pasta is tossed in front of your eyes. 10/10 would recommend.
Toasts were heartfelt, hilarious, and abundant with speeches from the bridesmaids, groomsmen, siblings, and both dads brought the house down. Then it was cake cutting (a stunning three-tier beauty from Publix, adorned with florals and a topper that read The Keys), followed by couple’s portraits around golden hour.
The Party: Dancing, Ice Ice Baby, and Pool Jumps 🎉💃🌊
First dances took place under dreamy string lights by the pool, where Ally and Hampton swayed under the stars. Then Ally pranked her dad mid-dance by faking a music cut only for the DJ to hand them mics and launch into Ice Ice Baby. The whole bridal party joined in, and it turned into a full-blown singalong. Absolutely iconic.
The night ended with a sparkler exit, but wait, it didn’t really end there. Ally’s brother and her bridesmaids jumped into the pool, went down the slide, and closed the night in the most fun way possible. My camera loved every second.

The Next Chapter ✈️
Today, Ally and Hampton are jetting off to Jamaica for their honeymoon (jealous!!!), and when they return, Hampton will be moving to South Carolina to join Ally while she’s in physical therapy school.
