I had the absolute sweetest time photographing Jenna and Kyle’s engagement session in downtown Huntsville! These two are getting married on May 9, 2026, in the gorgeous Smoky Mountains—which is going to be such a beautiful spot for their big day. They live in Prattville now, but their immediate family is spread between Texas and Kansas City, so their wedding will definitely be a sweet little destination celebration for their loved ones!

They also have the cutest one-year-old beagle (who we talked about a lot, of course), and while she didn’t join us this time, I’m still hoping she makes an appearance on wedding day!

Jenna and Kyle made the three-hour drive up to Huntsville for this session, which made it feel extra meaningful. We started things off at a pretty rock wall and fountain in Big Spring Park—and we even spotted an otter swimming around while we were shooting! From there, we wandered up to the Broadway Group building to shoot on the stunning white steps and columns, and then made our way to Alabama Constitution Hall Park to wrap things up with a little historic charm.

These two have been together for about four years now, and they were just so easy to work with. Giggly, sweet, and totally down-to-earth—it felt like hanging out with old friends the whole time. I know their wedding is going to be full of joy and so much love, and I can’t wait to document it all next May in the mountains!
